This is a sample communication application for smartphones and XBee Wi-Fi. You will need separate hardware to use it.
The audio signal that speaks to your smartphone is converted to a text string and sent wirelessly to a box equipped with XBee Wi-Fi. Data received in the box is output as sounds that people can hear using a speech synthesis LSI. All intelligent functions are implemented in the smartphone app, and the box side works without a microcontroller.
Advanced signal processing, which may be difficult, can be easily achieved by using services on the Internet.
